One water supply network handed over in Paktia province

With the total cost of one million Afs, funded through the discretionary budget of the Government, a gravity-fed water supply network has been recently accomplished and handed over in SarhadKotki village in Zazi Aryub district of Paktia province.

The water supply network is 1,000 meters long and provides clean drinking water for 75 households, one health clinic and the Customs Unit of Zazi Aryub district through its eight taps.

The project was executed by Kotki Community Development Council (CDC) through the National Rural Water Supply, Sanitation and Irrigation Programme (Ru-WatSIP) of Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development (MRRD) within six months.
