Over 100 families got access to clean drinking water in Sorkh Rod

With the total cost of 637,094 Afs, funded by Unicef Afghanistan, one water supply project has been recently accomplished and handed over in Naranj village in Sorkh Rod district of eastern Nangarhar province. 
The project included construction of five bore wells which were fitted with hand pumps and was implemented by Naranj Community Development Council (#CDC) through the national Rural Water Supply, Sanitation and Irrigation Programme (#Ru_WatSIP) of Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development (#MRRD). 
Creating hundreds of working days for the residents of the pertaining community, with the completion of these wells, around 110 families got access to clean drinking water.
